It is, but it’s not 100% accurate. I use it along with the numerous books I have on mushrooms, before I eat a “new to me species” of mushrooms.

it’s a great app to verify my initial id with.

Is that a northern thing... the morrels? I've never heard of them down here, but I have family in Ohio that loves to go looking for them. What do you do with them? I mean, obviously you eat them but do you add them to dishes or just straight up eat them? I'm not a mushroom person, obviously.
