I assume coyote but could be bobcat breached the electric fence and ate her. There were feathers which is why I put Bob cat in the mix. I had fortified the fence and had no losses for maybe 6 months. How they know my favorite duck is a mystery to me. I thought I would put hardware cloth around the bottom. This would only be a day pen.
As a nice day pen it looks good! But fore warning, the frame is not dog proof. Even their frames on the dog runs aren't dog proof if one chucks a big enough tantrum.
Lisa, so sorry you lost Barbara I wonder if the shelter would be sturdy enough to keep out a coyote are cat? I would definitely add 4' of 1/2" hardware cloth.
I figured thzt. Luckily my dog is protective of the duck so I don't have to worry about her. We rarely get strays. I would guess it's not coyote proof either but adding hardware cloth around the bottom might make it a good deterent.
