The Quack Shack

:frow Good evening Kiwi, hope you've had a great day
I've had some sad news today, but I started work on some of my latest plans for the gardens, so that's good. I am extending the vegetable garden. A domino chain of other things to do with drainage and duck fences and tree pruning have to be factored in as I do it, so there is plenty of mental exercise alongside the physical.
My surviving ducks are still surviving, and the sun shone today after a LOT of recent rain. 🦆🦆🦆

I was so ready for a story like that! Best wishes to your cat. It has given me a good laugh!
Also, no armadillos here. I didn't realise they could cause mischief in the yard.
Yep, they are great diggers. Plus they carry Hanson's disease (leprosy)

Ooh, ooh I'm so excited. Look what we picked today. Our first one. The tree is at least 6 years old.

Good to see all the fresh produce guys! And the ducky update Yoda. We ate our first harvest
Of cos lettece and spinach last night. Who'd have thought growing your own leaves was how you got kids to eat them? Winter Heat wave today. Weather radars are undecided of 26 or 29 degrees Celsius
