I cannot wait for 2020 to be over! - But not for the reasons you may think: When 2020 is over it means that we are heading back to spring, every day will become a bit longer and the gardening season will start soon. I just hate winter!

This is disingenuous. You left TX, the greatest place to live with no winter. You are not allowed to hate winter when you voluntarily moved into it.

Don't wish away my summer! The pool guy showed up this morning to do our start of season deep clean. Normally something we'd do ourselves but as this pool was specially made and holds 3 times the water of the average pool its a ruddy big job

Moving out of the great state of Texas wasn't entirely done out of free will. I was pushed and urged from all sides, privately and professionally and West Virginia was the best compromise between not being too cold (like Minnesota or (shudder!) North Dakota) and being closer to where most of the customers are located. In the end Harvey in 2017 was the final nail to the coffin… But believe me i do miss Texas! From the Mom & Pop BBQ's over Chapel Hill sausages to SH130 (remember no speed-limit on the German Autobahn!)…

Wow! An extra large pool to share with your ducks!
