My daughter got a cat from an organization that traps feral cats. They spay/neuter, vet check and give necessary shots, then rehome as barn cats. At first the cat was timid but has turned into a love bug. She follows my daughter around the farm like a dog, and insists on snuggle time. She has a heated water bowl, and a cat house with heated blanket. In return she provides my daughter with an endless supply of dead mice/voles/moles, and sadly the occasional bird. Sometimes these gifts are missing parts.
What a good kitty!

Sounds like a dumped cat. Wish people wouldn't think it is ok to just discard their unwanted pets in the country. Some get killed and some lucky ones find Magnolia Ducks or other caring individuals.
Not just pets, pests also.

I have enough squirrels and raccoons.
I don’t need those city folks decide are pests that can be moved because of live traps.

Good Afternoon! Rainy day here. Wunda are ya'll into fall already?
That's what the calender says! The 1st day was 5 degrees hotter then our entire average summer temp this year. And have seen 3 snakes in as many days, 2 within metres of kitchen door, one fleeing through our the front gate when I got back from town this morning.
