Took my new cat to the vet today. It was micro chipped! Waiting to here from the owner,I will still keep her if the owner doesn't want her back.

So I still haven't heard anything. She's both micro chipped and recently spayed according to the vet. The vet said I needed to put Neosporin on her spay incision since it was so recent. Who would goto this trouble then abandon the cat?

Do they microchip for catch, neuter and release?

Yes. But they notch an ear. she does not have a notched ear so she wasn't feral.

Hi Dux co-conspirators!

Look what the dux have done now. They are sitting down south flapping their wings and pushing summer temperatures towards us. Look at Monday and Tuesday! That is typical Fourth of July weather. I can’t have this heat. I am trying to gather and process maple sap.

These temps could shut me down for the year with no maple syrup. It could also ruin my birch tree tapping before it begins.

Right now I have about $500 into this years syrup. Some ones spouse is not going to happy if I don’t get any syrup.

This is cause to open Dux season in March.

Stuff only grows here only on the spots where the ducks have distributed their magic olive-green spray-fertilizer. Everywhere else its only nettles and thistles.

Busy day here, the ducks laid 20 eggs today, so between conference-calls i had to rush to the supermarket today and sold them 12 dozen eggs!
