That's why i thought about a real thick layer of chips, so they can absorb a lot of liquid, dry out, absorb, … and compost - not rot - during that time. And the ducks would have a lot of fun digging into their own compost and hunt for worms.

The rhicker the better. I know mine was a couple inches but they still worked it in. They were also confined the whole time so that may affect it

Spoke with the neighbor, he is the owner of a tree removal service that works for the electricity companies. I can have as many woodchips as i like, literally tons of wood-chips!

The catch is: They can't drive their heavy trucks up my driveway to my house, the bridge over our creek has a limit of 3 tons and is too narrow. And i don't own a trailer...`


Also the application for a budget to buy a trailer has been rejected by the Economics Minister (aka Wifie).

I moved all the drakes to the ghetto behind the palace now that the babies have hatched.
Ralphie dux gives me hell tryin to do anything in there. He knows where those ladies are and he wants to get to em. While the other ones stay in the far corner away from me while I fill their pool, He is trying every which way to get past me and out the door.
