It's been a busy weekend. On a fun note, we've started making the quail a bigger house, and it will also have wheels for easy moving. I've decided my 2 chicks are definetly roosters. They escaped the duck pen sometime over night and survived. There are most definetly foxes and pigs about. The hawks have not touched them. The cats have not touched them. The hound has no interest in them (though continues to plot destroying my 2 remaining ducks ☹) so they must be cockrels.

No but she wants to finish off last 2. I had 4 left with hopes to breed, but a chicken drowned one and the other died of botulism (as did a chook) from finding dead mice while free ranging. Hound now only comes out of run on a lead. And chickens no longer get to free range during the day.

Do you guys have this weed? Husband says its not scotch thistle but very similar. I could not tell difference
