I wonder if type of onion has anything to do with it as well. I always store my onions in the fridge but have the same issue.

maybe its a placebo. She told me it works, so then it did work. Will see if it still works next time I have onions

So does it give both the onion and garlic flavour?

I honestly don’t taste the garlic flavor and I do eat them raw too. Maybe it’s when they mature more. I like to dig them young
