Another exhausting day. Got the rental car (a Kia Soul, looks and drives like a brick!). Thank goodness I'm off tomorrow, I just want to sleeeeeeep!

I drove plenty of Kia Souls as rental cars and was always surprised how roomy those little asphalt-bubbles were inside. Yes, not a sports-car, but practical.

We're experiencing a La Niña event. We have them this bad every 10 or so years.

Well 4cm of rain over a period of 19 days doesn't sound too bad, yet on top of still rising waters… Let's just hope your dam holds up. Maybe in the future you may be able to move the house on top of a terp.

So thats what you call that! They either have a levy like we do, or the houses are built up on a more modern, stylish version of a terp
