Yes, from the five i got in spring 2019, only Pompom and Pinball Duck are left.

Happy Saturday Everybody!​

I was a bit busy yesterday, in conference calls almost the whole day, but i managed to start some winter preparations for the Mallards. First i set up a cracked corn feeder for them:

I will move this feeder towards the shelter every day until it is inside. By that time i will have finished the shelter itself. I dragged one of the large pallets up the mountain yesterday and placed it near hay-covered Mount Poop:

I will cover the pallet with a tarp (or two), then cover that with hay and wood-chips. Here are pictures from other angles:

Those two landscaping-timbers roughly mark the edges of my future berry-garden - which will be fenced in soon, therefore offering some predator protection for the Mallards.
What do you think about that?

Morning all. I've got Covid. I've had it since Thursday, but the home test didn't pick up on it then. Took another test this morning and sure enough.

I knew it was gonna happen because my mother got it, took a home test and read it wrong and thought it wasn't Covid, so we were all around her for like five days until she took a second test and realized she must have read the first one wrong. My father got it from her first, then my brother. I was hoping I would skirt on by and not get it, but no dice.
