Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

Turkey is stuffed with Peppers, Carrots, Potatoes and onions and already in the oven. Estimated eating time 6pm.

May I ask why it has a button?

It pops out when the meat reaches a certain temperature, thus indicating that it's done.

So how was dinner, folks? Those of you that live in the States that is.

Good morning! Still stuffed up, still coughing, getting very annoyed. At least I'm not passed out 20 hours out of 24 anymore.

Turkey after 1½ hours of cooking in the oven:

Turkey is done after 3 hours and 20 minutes:

Veggies, cooked inside of a turkey:

Yummy breast-meat and skin:

After that, i fell asloeep and cannot remember anything…

A very nice invention! - But nevertheless i checked the temperature with my trusted food thermometer and it was ok everywhere.

Yes, it was just us against a 12 lbs Turkey. The Bird did not stood a chance.
And, btw, you know that you can store things like the bones and left-over fatty tissue in the freezer until you like to have some turkey-broth?
