Day 23 and still no power. No one seems to be able to tell us when we will get it back either. So thankful for the generator.

My flock is doing well. And we are too really. Just disappointed about the power. I just read an update from our congressman our county has the most out of power in his district.

So glad to hear that you all are doing well. I can surely see why you would be so disappointed. Will you still get to vote in the election? We were able to vote early yesterday as I was off work. No line and it was easy. Davy did a mail in. He broke his wrist yesterday so I was glad we already sent his in. I pray your power is back on soon my Dear. This is really getting redeculous!!

Yes we voted yesterday too wouldn't miss that. Our town and many in the county have power. How did Davey break his wrist I know that has to be painful sorry to hear.

The town water system was destroyed but they are gradually getting it back up but it is boil before using. Thankfully we have a well and spring so we don't have to go that route.

He fell down the steps trying to retrieve the laundry which he does for me. I am blessed that is all that happened to him. We call the orthopedic doctor on Monday to get a permanent cast. I just pray he can still have his cataract surgery in two weeks. I am thankful you have your own water system my Dear.

Poor guy I am also thankful he wasn’t injured worse. Steps can sure be an accident waiting to happen at times.
