Egg status?
My last egg seemed to have stopped around day 24 when I last saw it alive. It was malpositioned in the egg. I was happy to get 2 out of 4 eggs though being my first time with Call Duck eggs. I used a brand new Brinsea Mini II for my last egg that never made it. The ones that made it were in a cheap no name incubator from Amazon that was years old. The first Call Duck died at age 18 days trying to pip out externally. The next one came out all by itself, it has a larger bill and is big for a Call Duck. The next one was a total assist as it's bill has no egg tooth and it is tiny. Funny that they both hatched out fine with my old incubator but they were from my little Call duck from Metzer Farms I got last May along with her mate. Both very healthy and get good feed. I felt Blessed to get the two.

No 80 is regular
I understand that, what I meant was -- how is it possible to get such a huge range of results using the same approach (and even using eggs from the same ducks!). This makes me feel it's worthless to try to improve the approach because it's just luck of the draw. But the perfectionist in me (although bruised and mellowed by age) doesn't want to believe that.

It seems that #7 will also make it (but is still in the incubator at the moment)
