It seems like it only takes one to teach the others how to enjoy the pool. My old gal, Quimby, and Louie would never go into the pool. Quimby passed on and Louie still won't venture in. He will stick his nose in for a drink. But the one young male taught the other younger ones how to get in and enjoy it. Now they sit in it and scratch their butts on the bottom.
They do feel miserable when it's hot. I have quite a few shady areas here and I have two pools set up and one mini pool for them in the shade. Louie gets a bucket of water tossed on him several times a day.
A fan sounds like a great idea! Oh, and watermelon! Or frozen cucumbers, squash, ect. Someone gave me a big freezer bag full of frozen eldeberries. The pigs munched on that and all got purple noses...lol.
