What a sane reasonable regulation!

Its not that all regulations are bad, just the excessively restrictive punative ones. Hey, if I want to buy a chicken from a neighbor who butchers them on a large or small scale, then that should be my perogative... and the seller should state the source of the product. Wow! How reasonable, fair, appropriate, and it allows for individual freedom of choice.

Sure wish the Agro-Industrial Complex were subject to the same "Truth in Selling" requirements! Lord only knows WHAT junk is coming out of the Agro-Industry food chain!

Its ALL about freedom of choice and individual right to make one's own decisions, vs. BigBrother / UncleSam paternalism!

I decorate cakes, and feel the same way. Yes it restricts me, and I do a gorgeous job, people tell me I should go into biz, but the cost of it keeps me from doing it... So while the laws cramp my style, I'm still grateful for them....

Look the goods over really good then. If it looked all right to me I'd buy it. Most Specially if I knew the people. I'm not asking you to buy anything that you are comfortable buying, but I feel the governments got their nose way into everybody's business where it doesn't belong.

don't know why people think store bought stuff is better. I've bought milk that was bad because it wasn't stored properly, bread with mold on it and I've seen pizza dough that was rising covered with flys at a "national" pizza place. I'd rather buy the old church ladys cupcakes. I think they would be safer.

growing up, i ate a lot of things other people have never heard of (gopher,a land turtle) anything my daddy could catch or kill in hunting season, BUT i refuse to eat a cricket or mealworm, not that hungry yet, plus i can use the crickets to catch fish. and as long as i can raise chickens for eggs and meat, will never get that hungry!!

BUT let me ask you all a question. The goverment says"Oh well we need to be more self relient" Ok well maybe they finally get the picture. 3 months later they spend 65 million on importing foods from India and wherever else and tax the snot out of American farmers born broke and die homeless. That thing about Tennessee kind of set me off. If I want to be self sufficent your darn straight I am. I didn't know Tennessee did that.
