Same with the ducks.Ok, why are teenaged chickens so darn ugly?I really could without this stage in their lives. Half fuzz, half feathered, feathers missing, all around gangly looking.![]()
Wow guys, that was a lot of reading... and I was only gone a few hours!
QJ, way to go! Save that chick!! Yay!!
SM: That sucks about your egg exploding!!! Ewwwww!!!!!!!!
Celtic: ****, woman.... got enough eggs to set in bator?!?
Update: Wry neck is about the same as earlier today, but seems to be able to stretch his neck a little further out now. Still spunky as can be and getting spoiled fast! I dusted the top of food bowl with active yeast (assume that is correct) and will give Wry his 3rd vitamin drop of the day in a little bit.
We also got the flyers up at two local places to hopefully sell a few ducklings. Hubby is resisting me putting up an online ad though. I'll give it through the weekend to see if we get any response from the flyers before pressing to list them online.
In the meantime, we are going to build a new pen for brooder room tonight, as the duckies have already outgrown the current one!
This incubator has everything coming out shrink wrapped. I think I'm going to use the LG as a hatcher.
