Jerry! Great to see you!

At least I'm relieved it is turning out that boys are actually girls, instead of the other way around! Napolean is a stunning goose! Are your new ones both boys??

keeping our fingers crossed but one acts like a gander
My plan is feed to DH whatever I don't sell!
aways a great idea LOL

You guys should get NPIPd, it's free for us. If you need the dude's email, just let me know. Schedule soon, as they don't get ought right away. And, if there is a retest, you'll be even longer.
LOL we are NPIP alreadyand agree it is a must have

While you're waiting, make sure everything is ready for them when they come out. Keep yourself busy, but close by. A watched egg never hatches.
LOL. You can say that again. My first hatch, I stayed up the better part of 48 hours with a couple unintentional naps in there.
Hey Jerry!

I just found a entire flock of call ducks for sale

I don't need more ducks but bantams don't count as a full duck right?

I have 5 ducks: cayuga, khaki campbell, runner, pekin and saxony. I have two geese: chinese and pom. One of those two numbers is accurate by normal math standards.

I've been habitually setting on Saturdays.

But...

The hatching eggs I was supposed to get on Thursday... they arrived today. I have no room for them. Need to get even more creative with bator arrangements.

I'm supposed to go look at a cabinet on Thursday. I have the sinking feeling it's missing parts and need repair. Which means I may be driving four hours for something that I'm only willing to make a rock bottom offer on. http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/grd/3675264033.html Comments? Input? Heeeelp!

I'm thinking of sectioning my hatcher which is incubating goose eggs right now in half in order to lock down the two little duck eggs from my test batch that need locking down tomorrow. I'm not sure what else to do because I'm not crazy about stacking in one of the hovabators.

Oh, and RG: I gave the farm geese their fake eggies today. I almost got attacked putting them in there. Darn territorial gander.
