By "treat", do you mean giving them treats? Treats shouldn't make up more than 10% of the overall diet, but as long as you don't give them too many, you can give them treats every day if you want.

I did read this. What do you like to give your flock when you are given them a treat?
 
I'm assuming "treats" as in food?
Mine are confined so I try to adhere to the 10% rule. Some favorite treats are kale, scratch, cabbage or other fresh veggies/fruit.
Keep them busy by adding some fresh straw, raked up leave/pine needles to your run as well.
 
I treat daily with Scratch Grains that I mixed in some Cardinal seeds (Sunflower and Safflower). 20190212_121137.jpg .
I give 2 Tablespoons per chicken scattered in their pen, around 9 am. 20190318_095131.jpg .
They have to search through the hay and wood shavings.
During cold weather, below freezing temps, I give a second serving around 1 pm. GC
