Sorry, I'm no duck expert

Expert in other things though ;)

@Nannette114 I have 3 pips in the goose eggs! :clap
The other 3 are being a bit slow though, no nternal pip when I checked just before bed last night but the air cell is drawing down :pop

All 10 pheasant eggs are looking good and developing :yesss:

Brilliant!:celebrate
I can't believe you didn't stay up all night staring at them. That's what I end up doing!
Any developments this morning? Keep me posted!

I did you used to when I first started hatching! I'm no good to man nor beast though the next day if I stay up all night :D

2 had pipped yesterday morning and the third has pipped sometime last night. The 2 that pipped yesterday have made more cracks in the shell and I can hear them peeping away :love Hoping they should not be too much longer, I'm just about to head out and do the horses so you can guarantee they will start zipping whilst I'm out. Leaving the other half on egg watch this morning :pop

I left it over night the other 2 I can hear noise and movement from inside but the one with the crack still.on same position do u think I should spray a tiny bit of water on them when she next gets off or just leave as for other one I'm wondering if it has been cracked by one of the others as they kept sneaking up she had one pinned by the throat yesterday hence why have moved her I'm pretty sure I think it's dead do I leave it or as u say unzip if dead then dispose of it. Sorry for all u pros that think these questions are lame but i am so new to eggs hatching .

That's so exciting!! I love that peeping sound!
So have you raised humidity now then? I'm told its different to chickens and you should wait for an external pip. Is that what you do? The hatching part of this terrifies me because it seems you often have to help them?
I'm sending good hatching vibes your way...:fl

Can you hear any peeping from the one you think is dead? I'd be tempted to make a tiny hole in the air cell end and see if that helps. Have you read the link on assisted hatching? it's really good and will take you through it step by step.
