This is Charm the bearded golden polish hen. She is a year old.

But I have to enter her sister this time, my cuckoo polish hen, because she is so tame and friendly, I think she is gorgeous, but above all she is raising 4 chicks for me right now and is a super amazing mama hen. It is her first time and she has been so attentive, and it cracks me up when she looks surprised at them getting up to high jinx!

Greyslyn the gray egg layer...Funny story, I named her Greyslyn for her feather color, the eggs came later of course... Guess what else? I have a son named Tanner. I thought of the name before he was born. And he is naturally tan.

Here is my Rooster Mary, he's a Welsummer that's about 2-3 yrs old.

Meet Cluck Angel, he's our barred cochin rooster. At just over one year old, he's a big boy (around 11 pounds) with a big personality. He's a fearless guardian of our flock, even occasionally taking on a feral cats and winning! He's also sired around a dozen chicks this year. And he has some rad eyebrows.
