unusual chicken and behavior

I bought 6 black sex links at TSC 3/2/23. they began laying brown eggs mid June through mid July with the sixth laying a blue/green egg on Aug. 10! They are 7 months of age and the fall season is beginning. September 9 is the last day that sixth pullet has laid an egg. She stays in the (roll away) nest box night and day. No eggs to sit on. A few days ago I brought her inside. She ate, drank and pooped. She is not egg bound. She has lain several large double yolkers. I now have her in a dog crate within the coop hoping to break broody, if in fact that may be the issue. Any thoughts?

Well, she's not a black sex link if she lays a blue/green egg. Sounds like an EE got mixed in that bin and also sounds as if she has gone broody. Caging her away from her nest site should break her broodiness.

Thank you. I hope this breaks her. It seems so odd as she looks so much like the others. If she hadn't stopped laying I'd have no clue which one lays that blue/green egg.
