I have to wait until Monday!I can't stand it! Need to rig up an enclosure in the hen house for her this weekend but I think I'll be camped out there starting Sunday. 2 of 4 look like they're still going. Nice air spaces, veins, very big dark thing in the eggs. This is very exciting. If these hatch and if they survive (notice I didn't count my chickens before they were hatched!) the next big question is what will they look like and did I get girls. Barnyard specials.
I caught Francesca off the nest again, hanging out in a low Myrtle branch with the home girls. Probably catching up on the news. The eggs were still warm. I scooted her back to her nest and she's as broody as ever. I hope she's going to make it to the hatch and that she's not getting tired of this whole thing yet. I'm sorry, SCSHEV, about what happened with your hatch. I'm going to set up the incubator and the brooder just in case. Unfortunately I'm going to be gone a lot today and tomorrow so I can't watch her.
