i would chase it off with something simi small and very loud
or a truck

I would use my air rifle. Though in the moment I would probably just run madly into the chicken yard with a broomstick. screeching and clapping.

After the fact I would realize how stupid I was and decide to do something less dumb the next time. And then proceed to do the exact same thing.
