What did you do in the garden today?

A week or so ago I bought a bag of lima beans and planted some of them since I couldn't find a packet of seeds - they are sprouting now. Corn has been hand pollinated - I can't believe how much pollen one cornstalk produces in a day. No wonder my allergies have been bad.

if not a pressure canner,a freeze dryer works too, last a lot longer as well. I have one and love it, can do most anything in it.

I’m always on vacation. I’m taking a break right now sitting with the chickens. I roasted up the veggies to make salsa verde. So far I have just under 3 pounds of frozen peach slices and 11 half pints of peach preserves. Either tomorrow or Sunday I’ll be making more tomato sauce. I’m getting a little tired now.

Dd had her two week check today, a little early, but she's doing great and really thriving for her size. Pretty small baby, but I'm not big either, lol. First time driving anywhere with two Littles in the car. How many mirrors does a mom need? Yes.
