Yes the perfect breed. much like Great Pryenees but not as independent.

Just get a show line so then they dont have as much energy.

Can someone give me a list of recommended doggo things to get? I've read several things, and there is a lot of non-overlap and random stuff on a lot of lists, just wondering if there are some less obvious things (obvious being crate, leash, collar, grooming tools etc.) to get.
General plan right now is adult size crate w/divider for appropriate puppy sizing, using mealtime as training using hand feeding etc. (I have a lot of free time, lol).

I can't think of anything less obvious right now, I'll keep thinking. Honestly the crate is probably the most important of everything. Definitely hand feed your puppy!!! One thing I like that not many people think about is leashing the puppy in the house when it's with you. If I wasn't paying attention to the puppy it would be in the crate and if I was I would have it leashed with me (or other adult family member). That will prevent them from going behind or under furniture to potty or destroy stuff. I have only raised one puppy, so I'm sure others will have way more advice where that is concerned.

Upfront, dishes, food, leash, collars or harness, a few chew toys, toys in general, appropriate sized crate, small nail nipper, soft brush. That's about all I can think of.
