Yes, people who have little dogs think they can't do any damage so they don't train them. If their dog is aggressive they just pick them up and coddle them and go on with their day. It is horrible. (and not all little dog owners of course)

I never really liked small dogs, they scare me
Most pf the experience ive had is them barking super loudly at me whenever i walk within 100m (lol) of them, and it justs scare me for some reason

That’s what happens when we treat small dogs as objects and not living animals.

I can assure you, properly raised small dogs won’t and shouldn’t act this way.

Bad breeding also plays a role; most people looking for small dogs go for the “basics” (frenchies, chis, yorkies, back in the day westies were popular choices as well), and don’t do much research in finding a good breeder, so they end up with BYB dogs that they treat the same way they treat their newest accessory

Little did i realize id miss the barks of the neighbors dogs. When outside its so quite here.

I do hope the rescue im in contact with can do something for these pups.
