Yeah it is breed standard for dobies to be cropped. I just don’t like the way it looks and I don’t want him to appear more threatening. Dobie have such a bad wrap. If you can keep the tail you should!!! The tail is SOOO pretty

Yes docking is illegal, Yep it'll will either be natural bobbed or full tail!! I honestly don't know which i like better they both have pros and cons, the nbt (natural bob tail) i think suits the dog better, and if you own a dog with a big floofy tail (golden retriever) they can be very annoying if i wake up at night can tell and she'll thump her tail and wake everyone up but also i love the full tail because you need taht balance in agility (which i will be doing!) so yeah

Yeah, I understand. I just mean I've been involved in breeding, selling/buying dogs for like over 10 years. The prices you see now are SO different.
Last puppy I bought was less than $2,500 I think. Fully registered and entire for me to show and/or breed if I wish to. That was a few years ago now.

Size? Probably not. Breed and lines? Absolutely.
Not that I've looked but I get the feeling some of those toy breeds can get up there in price
We seem to get plenty of puppies but unfortunately they're more vet appointments so I don't get to spent anywhere near enough time with them
