Pork makes everything better!!

Oh like, banana bread! Just another name!
Yes, that is yummy and rather easy to make!
:drool
Monkey bread is nothing like banana bread... it's more like pull apart cinnamon rolls or sticky buns. :drool

Great looking up and sharing. :highfive:

I skip ANY recipe that calls for margarine. :sick

We have made this using refrigerated biscuits, quartered. Then shaken in a baggy of cinnamon and sugar. With a stick of melted butter and brown sugar mixed together and poured over the top... baked until brown and bubbly... YuUhmeee!

Just sharing another simple recipe for it, I haven't tried nuts yet and hate raisins but LOVE monkey bread... fun to make and fun to eat...

The recipe I like to use when making our own dough for cinnamon rolls that put all store bought ones to shame...

I also really enjoy making a breakfast casserole on the Eve and eating something good on Christmas morning instead of starving all day like we used to... The following link is good guideline.. I prefer ham and sauteed onion, green pepper, and cheese (dislike Swiss).. like a Denver casserole, and bread quality has a huge impact on final product so use a bread you like!

I want to eat at your house..... My first boyfreind was half Italian His Mom could cook big time. She taught me how to make Clam sauce and spagetti sauce... the quick kind.... I will never eat spaghetti sauce with Hamburger again...

I am making oyster stew tonight... Potato soup base. Add in some Sauteed Onions some herbage and the liquor from the oysters... Then slip in the oysters and cook till they are done. Havent made it in years....

yup - one of our dishes is linguini with white clam sauce. Oyster stew sounds great - I may need to try that!

My family immigrated from Italy in the early 1900's. One tradition we have is The feast of the seven fishes. On Xmas eve, we basically eat until we bust - 7 different fish dishes. My favorite is stuffed squid marinara on linguini.

Then Xmas day - my wife ancestors are english - so we do a traditional english meal: Beef Wellington (tenderloin wrapped in pate, then baked inside a pastry dough.)

but that stuffed squid - my favorite by far.
I am drooling here! If I lived nearby I would have no shame in inviting myself to your table!!
