I just got into chickens about 8 months ago and had a friend who gave me a chick at the time. They said this chick was a silkie, but as she’s gotten older and feathered out her feathers aren’t like normal silkie feathers they are straight and not as “hairy” looking as other silkies I’ve seen on breeder websites and google. Now I’m just curious to know what she is (see pictures above) (she is around six months old)
 
Could be anything - would have to be a breed that comes in blue, though. My first thought was Easter Egger, but there's nothing to really verify any particular breed. Maybe ask where you got them from what breed any blue/splash roosters they have are?

Either way shes absolutely precious and I've never seen a splash silkie cross, she's one of the prettiest birds I've ever seen.
 
She looks almost standard sized.
Half bearded Splash Silkie
My guess is that she is half blue Ameraucana/EE. She really has the body build of an EE.
What color egg does she lay?
