Whats the STORY behind your interesting CHICKEN NAMES?

All of mine have meanings behind their names

Biscut my BO, because she is "golden and fluffy"

Sassy, a BR ((the prissy little thing that she is)), cocks her head to the side like "how dare you reach your hand out to TOUCH ME!" everytime you try and pet her.
Tootsie, another BR, because she is IN LOVE with toes!

And she isn't a chicken... but one of my scovy females, her name is Frenchie

Because when she was little and still in the brooder you could hear her clear across the house pooping. And it sounded JUST like a bottle of mustard when it has reached the end!

...Frenches Mustard...

Oh yeah, all right, I'll tell you a funny story.

LT is orange. Cherry is red.

I noticed a few months ago, that the actual L.T. (*coughs and snickers*) is orange, and cherries are red...

Gee, the weird ways in which fate works. We named them when they were both wee little white chicks in a cardboard box...

The guy at the feedstore gave me 2 little black chicks after I had bought 10 others from him. The where little black chicks and one had a cute white "bow" on top of its head, so we named them Ike and Tina not knowing what their sex was! Turns out the one with the bow on the head was Ike and the other became Tina:) 4 of my EE babies (not babies now) were named after candy, Hershey, Reese, Baby Ruth and Butterfinger. The BO's are Sundrop and Sprite and the RIR became gum....Big Red, Juicey, Bubbles and Trident! Must have been hungry the day we bought them home

Luckily all 10 are pullets

I name them all after my friends and relatives. That way I can remember them. It's a growing cult - I have people requesting to have chickens named after them so they can be one of my "chickens".

I have eight babies right now that are named after my friends. I posted pics of the babies and they chose which one they wanted to have named after them. On Xmas I will be getting eight more babies (hatching Xmas eve) and they will all have Xmas themed names.

When I was younger I had some interesting names for my chickens,
one of my roos I had hatched was named Coca Cola…
Then there was a Hen named Sprite xD
I had a HUGE bulky old past-egg-production barred rock hen named Granny Hen,
Her Rooster counterpart's name was Grandpa Rooster

But perhaps the chicken with the "best" name is the pretty girl in my profile picture. She started out as "Gilbird" (The name of a guy's pet chicken from my favorite show), then Miku (because she's such a diva!) and so on with a few other anime character names until I realized one day that she came running when I called out "Chicken!"

so…yeah… her name's Chicken XD but she has a billion nicknames, all commenting on her noises she makes. Piyo-Piyo (when she was a chick, in Japanese that is the sound for "cheep"), Cluckmeister when she learned to cluck, Buck Buck (what my mom calls her) and in the morning when she yells at me to wake up, "Buh-Cack"… She's very vocal…. and knows how to get what she wants.

So despite my best efforts as an Anime nerd, I couldn't find anything that fit and I ended up with a chicken named Chicken. I am so original… *rolls eyes*

Well, when I was 10 I was really into cooking, so I named my rhode island red hen Bettycrockadoodledoo. My other hen was named after my step dad's aunt, her name is Marquita and she is REALLY mean. As my hen grew up she became a mean heifer. I decided she'd be named Marquita. Betty is on the left, and Marquita is on the right. They are going on 5 years this February.
