hi guys,

I’ve already posted a few times about how my male mallard got loose at night and we found him missing Monday morning (4/9). Something had seemed to have been stealing / raging eggs I hadn’t found in our yard. We live in NJ in a suburban area and I raised three ducks together, one female and they all love each other. Wiz is the only one who can fly so if he was startled by something he would have been able to escape. No sign of struggle at all. I think I may have spotted him at a lake on a college campus about a mile down the road but I have no idea how to get to him and also no idea if it’s avtuslly him unless I can see him much closer. There are so many mallards in my area right now! HELP! How do I get him to come home? Duck caller? Bringing his girl friend duck to the pond and see if he reacts? Do mallards ever just come back Home? I’m unsure of their sense of direction.
