World Egg Day Hatchalong!(October 12, 2012 is World Egg Day!)

Well, I just set 12 Trader Joe eggs in the "oven". And if I don't get our coop up this weekend, I'm gonna go crazy 'cause the boys keep trying to jump/fly out of the brooder every time I open it! And it is getting small in there, they need more room. These 4.5 week olds are my first chickens ever so... yah, lots of learning going on that can't be learned through reading, LOL.

I wish I would have known about this a couple of months ago, I would have made a sooner attempt at this chicken thang! Ours will go in the incubator on the 27th so we'll be hatching around the 18th or 19th(ish) I would assume. Something really funny that just occurred to me while I was typing this is that our baby chicks will be due to hatch on my b-day neato.
