Last time my vet wormed my pigs he gave them a shot of ivermectin...
Soo..i was wondering can i do this myself?
I have cattle ivermectin5% Pour-on...(that i use on my chickens)
So how would i use this on my pigs? On their neck area or orally??
Would it be SAFE for them?? And how much do i give?
Not sure how much my pigs weigh either.... maybe 50lbs? The vet didnt even weigh them last year... just gave them the shot.. so i dont know how much they weigh.

Thanks for any help!

You sure can. The syringe is plastic and large and you just have to be able to wrangle the piggie into a tight enough hold to get it in their mouth. We do our own with goats and horses. The stuff tastes (or so it says) like apple and have someone with a camera ready because their faces are TOOOO funny!!!

ETA: the dosage is on the syringe. You can use a horse tape for weighing. Really, it's a piece of cake.
