When a duck has a fever, it won’t be panting. Panting is how they decrease their body temperature because they’re too hot. When they have a fever, their bodies are trying to get hotter so the heat will hopefully kill any foreign invaders.
I’d just watch it. I know mine pant when they sit on my lap too long. How’s it doing other than the panting? Seems like you’ve done a great job so far.

doing physical therapy in the tub and wound cleaning and special diets. Little Dottie is continuing to improve. So thank you everyone for all your help! I've learned so much. It's good to know stuff, sad I lost a duck and one was injured for it to happen but, the silver lining is I learned!
