What a wonderful article! It's got all of the "wheres and why-fors" you need and some detailed descriptions on the types and temperaments available from specific hatcheries. The numerous descriptions of individual birds is not just helpful. They make the entire article a warm, pleasant read!

This is a really well designed coop and a very well written account of the build. The pictures are great and the step by step instructions a real help. This is a great inspiration for those of us who are intimidated by a big project. Anything you need (even hints on getting discounts) is in here. VERY nicely done!

I appreciate the helpful hints in many other articles I've read, so I wanted to be sure to include some here, too. Glad you enjoyed it!

What beautiful birds - and the photography is great, as well. Here is solid proof that bachelor flocks do indeed work!
Thanks for the update! I love Finny!

This article made me go on a persimmon hunt. They're hard to find! Maybe instead of cutting down extra trees, our author should offer them for sale!

Really good article - and the link to the plans is a nice bonus. There was obviously a great deal of thought put into this build, and it shows. LOVE the long roost along the very top!
This was an interesting read. I'll be trying the citrus peel vinegar cleaning fluid. It's similar to one my SIL uses to clean her home - and it smells amazing!

Good article - great pictures of both before and after ... and I finally have perspective to an age-old insult that was flung at nearly every Jr High kid I knew, growing up. Edgar proves, once and for all, that "Chicken Lips" are BEAUTIFUL!

Once you find the rest of your pics, this will be an awesome article! Please add some how-to instructions, especially on the tree-limb fence. That's beautiful - and a very cool concept!

This is a nice way to adapt a ready-made or kit coop. The enclosure is big, looks sturdy ... and even has toys!

Nice little article on a new chicken mom's first flock - and a good example of how Chicken Math sets in early!
Nice overview on recognizing and dealing with molt. Nicely organized. Thank you.

This is a really nice pictorial, showing the major steps from the framing to the final exterior. Some interior shots would be a real bonus, as would some text on what worked. what didn't and maybe a few building pointers. This looks like a very well built piece of work. Nicely done!

This is a really nice chronicle of a really good build. I especially like the comments on how the builder modified the plans as the build progresses, and explained what was changed and why - like putting in two drop doors instead of the one outlined in the original plans. The link to those (free!) plans is a real bonus. It's a good article with good commentary, but my favorite part is where Chicken Math hits before the chicks even arrive!
