This is amazing! This is one of the best cold-winter coops I've seen. The article is clear and the pictures are not only helpful, but beautiful. The follow-up comments and videos are great additions. And please, give that awesome little dog an extra hug and biscuit for me!

I can't wait to see more on this playhouse conversion. My coop is an old playhouse, as well, so I'm curious to see what improvements were made. I'm trying to find the motivation to begin upgrading my basic box, too!

This was interesting. It's really more of a tour and review than an article, but it does give a good idea of what went into this particular set-up and how it's working out. After watching this video, I'll be looking into the Royal Rooster Silos.

This is perfect - a short and sweet checklist for maintaining a compost pile. There are lots of articles on starting a system from scratch, and the better ones have a longer version of this one buried in them, but this one addresses the day-to day maintenance without lots of overloading details. Very nicely done ... Thanks!

That's beautiful! The crate even came with ready-made architectural details! How and where would one go about locating and purchasing such a crate, or do you have to buy a piece of huge machinery to come by one?

What an awesome set-up! And what a great way to adapt a pre-fab coop! The text is clear and easy to follow. The pictures are great. The run is perfect for both people and birds - lots of space and lots of interest. And the fire-pit dust bath is pure genius!
