This is a great idea - and a whole lot more economical than buying custom outdoor shade screens!

We do this with all sorts of goodies ... cabbage, cucumbers. We've even hung corn on the cob by pulling back the husk and tying the string around the top. We've also used a wire hanging basket to hang cauliflower. They loved it!

This looks like a great set-up for double flocks. It even has ample space in the middle for storage ... or to set-up for Chicken (and Duck) TV!

This was a short, fun, easy read. The pictures are very clear ... even the one in my mind of DW's reaction! I really like the perch/roost configuration fpr the chickens, too. I'll be adapting that one, myself!
Nicely done!

This is excellent information about the uses and nature of many antibiotics as used in DOGS. There is a good warning about using them (or not) on poultry, but it should also carry a warning that antibiotics must be used VERY carefully. If the user doesn't know what they're doing with them, a vet should be consulted about dosage and side effects.

Wow! This is a wonderful set-up! It's designed to handle both extremes of weather - desert heat to winter nights. With a few minor adaptations, it could be made to handle snow, as well. The entire set-up is well-documented, as well, with great pictures of the original build and the year-in adjustments. VERY nicely done, both the coop/run and the article. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the nice review!
This is a well thought out, well planned and well orchestrated video. The tips are clear and well ordered ... and what else can I say except that I WANT this COOP!
Nicely done! Now, howzabout another article on how you built that awesome coop? Pleeeeease?!

This is one of the best First Aid Kit summaries I've seen. The photos of active ingredients are a great touch, as brand names vary across The Pond ... or even across the State!

This follows a prefab coop from its' original build through multiple changes and adaptations. Starting its' "life" as a pristine, out-of-the-box baby shelter, along the way, it passes through some much darker, almost seedier stages. Join us as we follow this structure on its' journey from innocently purchased duck house to its' final incarnation as a hillside duck hide-away ... which of course, the little buggers hide under, not in!

I love the fact that this coop can be moved indoors in case of hurricanes ... or in my case, snowstorms. The text is clear and thorough; he pictures extremely helpful. VERY nicely done!

Great demo - both the pictures and the text. On a side note, you can make your own out of a head harness used to restrain dogs that pull. Gentle Leader makes one, but it's pretty pricey. I got a knock off on eBay for $1.99, USD. The key is to snip the threads that hold the muzzle piece together - so that the piece around your chicken's neck moves freely. Then you turn the harness upside down, open up the other loop and pass it under the bird's wings, like in this article. Works like a charm for two bucks and free shipping ... and my roosters go everywhere - to school, to TSC, to the dreaded vet. It's fun!

Whoa! If I'd seen this a few weeks ago, my coop roof would have been replaced already. Hurricane hardware? Never heard of it before today, but I'm so on it, now. I have been waaaaaaaaay overthinking this project! THANKS!
