I sent home a 1/2 gallon Ball jar full of goat's milk with DS2 once......on our next visit to their house I asked about it. "Oh, were we suppose to return that?" Aggghhhh! I guess if you've never had to buy jars, you don't realize how expensive they are. Maybe charging a "deposit" on them...

it was 95 F here yesterday and I put the poult brooder outside on the screened in porch for a first taste of the outdoors. They didn't seemed too thrilled with the idea but settled in after a while.
I just have to post this picture of my granddaughter that my daughter sent me. She loves her Maymi's "caw-koos" and spends as much time as she can with them when she comes to visit. She has plastic, crocheted, stuffed and other chickens that she loves to play with......but I don't recall ever...

I made the mistake of leaving the turkey eggs in the Farm Master to hatch and I could not get the humidity up. First poult out was fine (must of pipped and popped quickly) and in the morning there were two zippers...
