nothing that bad happened to me when i was building, just a few hammers to the finger nail, but my dad was cutting the hardware cloth for the run and he slipped and it jabbed him in the finger to the bone then the next day it was so swollen and hurt so bad he went to the hospital and they cave...
hmmm im no turkey expert but maybe you could biuld a net around it to catch the chicks? or some foam on the bottom so if they do fall there wont get hurt? I think moving the nest may disturb the mom and he would leave it. Like i said im no expert but thats just my opinion.

well, it depends if they are chicks, adults, roos, hens, pairs ect.. i dont know alot about quail either so i really dont know what the price would be. theres some people selling some on the other poultry section on the forum.
