Hey all! I hope all is well! I've been busy working 2 jobs back to back to back for most of the week with 2 hours of sleep between each long shift. Finally a full night's rest last night and another tonight with a full day off for my birthday tomorrow (yay)!
Anyway... I have a chicken story to...
I had an awesome time at Chickenstock!!! My new flemish giant bunny and my Rhode Island Red pair are doing very well in their new home! Can't wait to see some pictures!
Uhhhmmmm.... is it just me or does "Delta Township Park" have another name??? Search as I might, I cannot conclusively say I know which park this is! It would be nice to know where I'm going this Saturday... anyone have an address? LOL (drat Google Maps!!!)
nluoma, oh no! I sure hope it will turn up! I had the same problem when I had bantams... things that wouldn't happen to larger chickens ended up happening to them and I had to learn from experience what to do different. Some things can't be helped much though!

I hope everyone had a great Mother's day!!! I had a blast... made a couple of strawberry rhubarb pies for my mum...
My noisy little one is 2 weeks old and though she/he still peeps most of the time, last night when I picked her up, the peeping sounded like a half quack! Maybe I have a girl??!!?!
You guys have been busy!!! I wish I had more time on my hands for backyard projects, or even projects at home in general! Not that I don't appreciate having a full-time job.
So sorry for your loss, Sarah!!!
Hopefully someone else can help you out some more, but I had a hen that breathed raspy and shook her head all the time. I never figured out what it was and she was fine otherwise, and none of the other chickens "caught" it. She lived a nice long life. Not to say that yours could actually have...
