Cuckoo silkie
hi I got this cuckoo silkie in march ment to be a hen she was ment to be 5 1/2 months so she is about 8 months now. She had a bad sinus infection and is still on abs now but doing better. Chicken swing
has anyone tried their quail with a chicken swing ? I know they don't really perch like a chicken but mine love to climb on things they are forever jumping up on the flower pots with the grasses in playing I'm king of the castle. Any one habve any thoughts on the idea ? -

wound on my quail
I noticed a tiny bit of blood in fresh veg bowl this am I didn't see any thing at the time but came back and had a proper look I found one with a wound on wing area I watched it for a while before I caught it and and she is eating and drinking fine I have put her in box on her own now -

Keeping feed fresh
Hey all the info I have on this says too only get small bags as feed could go off after 2/3 months but if kept in an airtight box/tub would it be ok for longer as struggling to find small bag of the feed I want ? X -

The breeder I was getting my quail from just said his last hatch wasn't good so he is not doing any more so I can't get my chicks unless I hatch them myself. I could go and get some older ones but I was planning on handling them from very young to hopefully get friendly quails as will be pets... -
