over lapping is the way to go. I did the over lapping on mine. No air gaps. Don't know if you seen my pic i posted earlier butt here is another. Just make sure the boards are level and keep same spacing. I used a scrap piece of pallet and did a over lap of 1 1/2 inches. sent from your friendly...
