What to look for when rehoming a rooster - Decision Made!

Quote: Unfortunately I have to agree with this. Never thought about them getting a free bag of feed. Where will humans stop with taking advantage of each other? But who knows, maybe he is a good guy. Karma sucks if he isn't.

    button babies hatched!

Quote: Congratulations on all the babies. My question for everyone is, "what do you do with all of them?" I have over 60 of them, have slowly been separating them as they get older, now have 11 cages, more cages to come as they get feisty and aggressive with each other. HELP

Hope this doesn't make me the bad guy but ~

Quote: Well, I for one, am glad someone values the lives of their children over chickens and isn't afraid of saying it. More people should own up to that one.

Quote: Who's encroaching on who's territory? I believe that's why so many species are going extinct. And thanks for giving the predators so much credit, I am sure they are all out there "calculating" the risk, lol. I always ask my dogs, "are you calculating again?"

HELP! EMERGENCY! How to stop bleeding!

Quote: If it's squirting one foot into the air, sounds like an artery was cut. I am no expert, but it sounds like a tourniquit is needed, short of surgery. I think you would have to tie a rope or something above the cut to slow the bleeding, to allow the artery to have time to close, then...
