My bielefelder eggs are unique for sure. They started with a pinkish hue too them, and are getting much darker. Def interesting. I couldn't be more pleased with the breed though. Beautiful, docile, good producing birds in my opinion.
Hatched these guys last tuesday. I have 15 more due to hatch thursday but I had an awful temp spike to 106 a couple days ago. Ahhhh....my wonderful little giant incubator.
These girls have been laying for about a month. I just stuck six under a broosy. Fingers crossed. They are laying really well. Im loving these birds. Big,calm, and beautiful.
Had to put the proyd papa in the pics too.
Im liking this little black cockerel. I have a bunch his age running around, but he seems like the front runner.
I need a backup rooster,im looking for another blue, but this black is looking good! Heres my rooster, plus the little black cockerel.
Thanks for looking!
They acted perfectly fine to be sick? Not sure? I called the breeder to ask him if his jubilees were fragile. He claimed they were not? I lost them one by one, without any other losses?? 40 some chicks all from same place? Only the six jubilees were crushed each night?
I hear it goes that way? Ha
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I do not believe that jubilee chicks should have chipmunk (wild type) striping on their backs. None of my jubilee chicks had the type of chick down pictured.

Be happy to hear on that myself. Everyone of these little ones passed from being smooshed...

Thanks. There about 5 months now.
The little ones are from Pawhead Poultry. I went to get chocolates and lavenders, and couldn't resist more jubilee. There fast becoming my favorite breed.
Some of the younger crew that have come from my own pen. Excuse the lavenders please.
I think I have that chicken math thing going on. April 2013 I started with 4 chicks. As of today I have somewhere over 100 birds of all ages. Not really seeing an end in sight either. Ha.
