Both the lavender and the dark blue/grey have feathered shanks...small single combs and not pea combed....they all look like pullet chicks to me as well...they both hatched from darker olive eggs...hoping they lay olive too...the deep brown/black chick has a pea comb and no feathering on...

For great meat birds that are also Heritage...how about trying some New Hampshires and/or Dorkings?? I know a few breeders of both that have real nice quality birds...and they sell hatching eggs too (-;

The white chicks are blue wheaten/wheaten ameraucanas....the deeper yellow gold with stripes is an Easter/Olive egger. I have a few of these wit feathering on legs from olive eggs and a few from blue green eggs without feathering too.
