I had to go back and look at that picture a couple of times. I didn't realize you were actually mowing the grass in that costume. And you ladies can't figure out why you never get an egg LOL.

I pet them when my hands aren't full. I have 5 hens and 3 seem to be regular daily laying. I can tell which ones are laying because they must be the ones squatting. If they give me an egg I can give them a little back scratching.

Am I the only one that gets annoyed when I go out to get something done like cleaning the coop or the never ending raking out the holes the girls dug the day before and you're trying to walk through the yard and the chickens are constantly squatting in front of you?

That is just too funny. Be careful though I think that rooster is giving you the eye.

I totally agree, I think when I decided to get some chickens I thought free eggs will be so nice. I have now decided if I never spend another dime on such things as Oh lets just say chicken feed, I will be getting those free eggs in 13 or 14 years compared to buying 2 dozen a week at the market.
