I have no water in my incubator at all. I copied my weights from the 2 birds that actually hatched from the 6 eggs I bought. You will see the BIG differences in weight loss. The eggs that were perfectly losing the proper weight NEVER hatched. Egg 1 - Jan 23 - 566 - % goal loss 84.9 Jan 30 -...

I get mine done for $20 each at www.zoogendna.com I send them the whole shells once they are dry. It doesn't matter if they are broken cause I think they just want the dried blood in the inner membrane. I take my eggs out of the incubator and do the tap/whistle test. You can then hear clearly if...

I put a towel under the eggs so the chicks has something to prevent it from slipping. I do check the eggs for pips but that's it. I do it twice a day morning and night. Basically I am putting fresh air in the bator, but not keeping it open that long - gotta keep the heat in. Grassman no need...

Not me I stop turning when I hear the chirping. Place your ear to the egg and tap it with a pen and you should hear something. It isn't going to be loud cause the bird is still in the egg, but loud enough for you to hear.

You can hear the chick inside the egg chirping around day 48. You whistle it will chirp or you tap it and it will chirp. I stop turning the egg when I hear chirping (usually last 3 days). If it doesn't hatch by day 51 then I use the drill bit not the drill. My eggs were 96 degrees. I had one...
