"I'm not surprised, I mean you do have to sit in silence for a whole night, which might be hard for all three of you but hey it'll only be one night." Dustypaw noted before he tilted his head "Starclan may not be doing much watching though, with everything that's going on, I don't know how much faith I have in them following your vigil."
~
Snakepaw huffed, pretending Silverkit's excitement didn't effect him much. "Don't mention it, I didn't really do much of anything... but seriously don't mention it, I don't want other cats excepting me to do more things like that."
~
Lostpaw nodded "It shall only take a moment, I doubt it will vanish." He said decidedly as he leaped up the ledge to camp, excepting Brokenwing to not be far behind.
Canopypaw jolted forward, her eyes wild and her lips peeled back like she was expecting to have been awoken by something horrible. She immediately blinked and loosened back up when she realized it was just Ravenpaw, she glanced to Cloudfur's old nest as if to see if she had woken up but with sinking realized she remembered her mentor was gone for good. She yawned and squinted tiredly at her "Ravenpaw... it's the middle of the night-" her voice trailed off as she saw the light pouring faintly into the vine covered Medicine den entrance, she had overslept it looked like. "Anyways... what's up?" She asked with forced casualness.
Grayfur gave a small greeting purr "Oh the kits are just wonderful, they were born early so they don't have as much energy as most new kits but I don't think they're unhealthy, thank Starclan." She explained to Nettlepaw before glancing to the entrance "This is the first Willowstar has been really away from them, she's so protective. She's a rather nervous mother, poor dear is always fretting over them."
(HAHAHA LOOK WHO FINALLY HAD TIME TO REPLY >:3)
Gingersplash scowled slightly, glancing at the sky. "You have to have faith in our ancestors, Dustypaw." Her tone was that of a cat who had repeated the same thing many, many times. "They may be vague and distant, but they are there for us, and they will protect us. You just have to keep faith in them!"
~
"What do you mean!? Of course you did something!" Silverkit hissed, the moth utterly forgotten. "And don't worry, I won't tell anyone."
She stared up at him, almost expecting her chest to burst from the excitement that she would be a apprentice, and from the admiration she felt for the older cat. "I promise."
~
The scale still clutched delicately between her teeth, Brokenwing leapt onto the ledge, following Lostpaw carefully. As they entered camp together, Rabbitleap burst into giggles, watching them, a glint in her eye.
Brokenwing scowled, quickly slipping inside the warrior's den, carefully choosing a nest at the back, and laying the scale carefully inside, before slipping back out to join Lostpaw.

"Sorry! Sorry! Did I interrupt a dream? Sorry! I'm so stupid, I should have been smarter then to wake a sleeping medicine cat!" Ravenpaw paced furiously, tail whipping back and forth.
"Erm...well, I had a
dream." She stated lamely, not ceasing her restless pacing. "I think it was the Dark Forest. Because...because there was another cat there...she mentioned Two-Face..."
She frowned, skirting to the side to avoid knocking over a pile of delicately stacked herbs. "But it wasn't a dream. Because...because I could
scent things, and...clearly hear voices, and I felt the mist and..." She stopped abruptly, sitting down quickly and staring at Canopypaw.
"And the gray tabby wanted to recruit me, and
Canopypaw what do I do!?"
~
Nettlepaw bent her head, sniffing each she-kit gently, before pulling away slowly. "They're healthy.." She murmured, watching as the smoky gray kit squealed softly in her sleep. She felt a pang at Grayfur's words.
But she isn't really a mother. They aren't her kits.
"She is a wonderful mother," she agreed, her soft and calm façade never breaking. "The kits will grow to be healthy and strong warriors with parents like Hawkclaw and As—Willowstar."
