Found the quail, and also a baby. I’m not sure if the baby flew out yesterday, or through a hole (a plastic pan slides in). They were in the lilac bush with the other birds, and came out when I opened the quail door.

Yeah, well they are lucky they won. So are my ducks. The drake actually stopped right in front of me while I was still moving.

Dang, my eggs are late. Tracking doesn't say how late they're going to be, but since USPS doesn't deliver on Sunday, that probably means Monday.

I'm pulling 5 fridge clears.
I can not believe I'm only pulling 5 of these.

And I'm pulling 2 eggs from each of the four days I collected fresh eggs to set.

I am 100 percent sure that only four of my six girls are laying fertile eggs.
